Supply Lists

Updated for 2025-2026

Some school supplies are provided free of charge to Duluth school children.  We ask for your help in providing the following, as outlined for each grade level:

KINDERGARTEN

Please label the following with your child’s name:

  • 1 - Plastic school box, 9 x 6 x 2-½
  • 1 - Set of inexpensive headphones- 
  • 2 - Two (2) pocket plastic folders (1 Red, 1 Blue)
  • 1 (one inch thick )- 3 ring binder (White please)
  • 1 - Complete change of clothes-Labeled in a Ziploc Bag
  • 1 - Pair of gym shoes-Velcro if child cannot tie 
  • 1 - Large backpack or school bag to be carried to and from school each day

Not labeled:

  • 3 - Set of wide tipped Crayola markers classic colors (10 count) 
  • 1 - boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)
  • 1 - Pair of scissors
  • 1 - Paint shirt (possibly an old T-shirt)
  • 1- box of kleenex
  • 3- Clorox Wipe Containers
  • 1 box of gallon bags and 1 box of quart size bags

Optional:

  • Paper plates 
  • Sharpie permanent markers
  • Packing tape
  • Cardstock
  • Construction paper
  • Lamination Sheets (8.5x11)

GRADE 1

Please label the following with your child’s name:

  • 2 - Boxes of Crayola Crayons (1 for fall, 1 for spring) 
  • 2 - Boxes of Crayola wide tipped markers (1 for fall, 1 for spring) 
  • 2 - Boxes of Ticonderoga sharpened pencils 
  • 1 - Pair of children’s Fiskars- brand scissors 
  • 1 - Spiral notebook (any color) 
  • 3 - Highlighters (any color)
  • 8 - Elmer’s- brand glue sticks
  • 2 - Packs of Expo dry erase markers (black only) (thick  sizes)
  • 5 -  Plastic folders with prongs: 1 red, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 purple
  • 1 - Pencil box or other plain small container to keep supplies in 
  • 2 - rectangle erasers 
  • 1- Container of Clorox Wipes 
  • 1- Pair of headphones 
  • 1- Pair of gym shoes 
  • 1- Art shirt 

Optional:

  • Cardstock 

  • Paper plates 

  • Paper towels

  • Pack of napkins

  • Packing tape

  • 1 pack of white 3x5 index cards 

  • Disposable cups (for warm drinks)

GRADE 2

  • 1 - Box of Crayons (16 or 24 Count)
  • 2 - Boxes wide tip markers (8 count)                       
  • 1 - Box of Ticonderoga-brand pencils
  • 1 - Large pencil eraser                            
  • 1 - Box of Kleenex
  • 8 - Glue sticks
  • 1 - Pair of children’s scissors   
  • 1 - Zipper pouch or small box for desk supplies
  • 4 - Wide ruled spiral notebooks (1 each of blue, yellow, red and green)   
  • 4 - Two-pocket folders (1 each of blue, yellow, red and green) plastic preferred
  • 1 - Red (sturdy) plastic 2-pocket folders with prongs (for take home)  
  • 1 - Highlighter                                   
  • 4 - Black thin fine tip dry erase Expo markers  
  • 1 - Pair of headphones that comfortably fit your child (no earbuds)
  • Gym shoes (labeled with name)
  • Art shirt 

Optional:  

  • Ziploc bags (snack, sandwich, or gallon)
  • Unscented baby wipes

GRADE 3

Please ONLY label scissors, headphones, shoes and shirt.  The rest are community supplies

  • 1 - Box of crayons (16 or 24 Count)
  • 2 - Boxes of Crayola washable markers (8 count pack)
  • 2 - Boxes of pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)
  • 4 - Wide ruled spiral notebooks (1 each of blue, yellow, red and green)
  • 1- Composition Notebook
  • 1 - Zipper pouch or pencil box for pencils (small, must fit in desk)
  • 8 - Black dry erase markers (black and low odor preferred)
  • 1 - Box of thin dry erase markers 
  • 4 - Glue sticks
  • 1 - Pair Scissors
  • 1 - Red (sturdy) plastic 2-pocket folders with prongs (for daily home/school travel)  
  • 4 - Two-pocket folders (1 each of blue, yellow, red and green for at school only) plastic preferred
  • 1 - Pair of headphones that comfortably fit your child 
  • 1 - Box of tissues
  • Gym shoes 
  • Art shirt (big, old t-shirt that will protect school clothes during art)

Optional:  

  • Ziploc bags (snack, sandwich, or gallon)
  • Unscented baby wipes
  • Wide-ruled loose leaf paper

GRADE 4

  • 4- plastic (2) pocket folders 
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 24 -Ticonderoga Pencils 
  • 1 box of Markers 
  • 1- pair of adult sized scissors
  • Lysol/Clorox wipes
  • 4 glue sticks 
  • Pencil pouch  
  • Erasers-  Hi-Polymer pencil erasers 
  • 4 highlighters at least 2 different colors 
  • 1 package black expo whiteboard markers 
  • 3 - Wide-lined, 1 subject spiral notebooks to begin the year (may need 1-2 more later)
  • 2 - Boxes of facial tissues for the class  
  • Gym shoes - to be kept at school labeled with your name.
  • Kemp
    • Notecards  
    • 1 composition notebook 
  • Rosenberg:
    • 1 ½ inch Binder 

Optional: 

  • Ziplock bags gallon or quart 
  • Bird seeds or suet for our bird feeder
  • Package of loose line paper

GRADE 5

  • Gym shoes – to be kept at school and labeled with your name     
  • 1 - Wide-lined, 1 subject spiral notebooks
  • 1 - Wide-lined, Composition notebooks 
  • 4 - Plastic (2) pocket folders 
  • 2 - 12 packs of pencils (pre-sharpened is a plus!)
  • Hi-Polymer pencil erasers (rectangular chubby kind, they’re white and erase REALLY well)
  • 1 - Eight (8) count box of colored pencils                      
  • 1 - Pair of scissors                             
  • 1 - Zipper pouch for pencils             
  • 1 pair Headphones that plug into chromebooks
  • 2 - Rolls Packaging tape with dispenser (for projects)
  • Please no extra/additional coloring materials - we have plenty!

Optional:

  • Facial tissues
  • Clorox wipes
  • -rog brand green painters tape (for hanging/displaying projects)
  • Expo markers black
